This lovely set of three nesting tables by German company Opal Möbel are sure to look great in any living space.
Each table is the same size but has the legs positioned differently so that the tables can be stacked neatly together when not in use.
The different use of materials add interest and make this item all the more desirable.
Opal Möbel was a prominent German furniture manufacturer active in the mid 20th century. The brand is highly collectible today for its distinct design evolution across two major interior design eras: Scandinavian Modern woodcraft in the 1950s–1960s, and futuristic Space Age plastic and glass pieces in the 1970s.
They came to us in a very bad state and as a result each has been fully stripped, sanded and refinished making them look their best once more. Although fully restored they do still show signs of their previous life and not all stains, marks and scratches could be removed (as photographed). That being said they are in nice condition and are ready to be proudly put to use once again.
Some of the legs are a little bowed, but nothing that makes them unstable. There is also some tarnish to the brass.
Each table measures approximately 43.5cm tall, 45cm wide and 35cm deep (top), 42cm including the leg bracket. Once stacked they measure approximately 50cm tall.
Please note they do not feature an original makers label.
