Vintage G Plan Circular Astro Teak Wood and Glass Coffee Table

A sleek and stylish design typical of the 1960s period, this G Plan coffee table from their highly successful Astro range has become somewhat of a design classic. 

Designed by Victor B Wilkins, probably the most famous and popular designer for G Plan, he took many of his design inspirations from the Scandinavian style of furniture. 

The top rim has been stripped and refinished, ridding it of old water marks and balancing up the colour once more. The base although in general good condition does show signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and use, including scratching, marks and dints, as photographed. 

As to be expected the glass also has some light surface scratching which has been very hard to capture on camera.
