Harris Lebus were never considered cutting edge with their furniture designs however they were a major British furniture industry and at one time were known as the largest furniture factory in the world.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis particular piece came to us in very bad condition, heavily stained, scratched, marked and with the full front side beaded sections completely split, broken and missing in places. As a result everything has been fully stripped, sanded, areas filled, fixed and refinished, and as a result is vastly improved. The veneer is quite thin, and as a result the drawers have some uneven colour tones, however this does not detract from its over all appearance.
