The pieces of furniture designed by Hovman-Olsen are most certainly characteristic of the Scandinavian designs of the time with simple and clear lines. As a prolific designer, he's most famous for his chairs but also deigned tables and sideboards amongst other pieces of furniture. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe highly sculptural design has become a timeless classic and is possibly one of the nicest dining chairs we've had in stock. The mix of sharp angles and soft curves along with the vinyl wrapped handles make these chairs highly tactile and are not only beautiful but comfortable too. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlthough in nice condition they're not without wear commensurate with age and use. The frames have been re oiled with a mixture that both cleans and nourishes the wood. Both seat bases have been stripped, sanded and refinished.
