After WWll there was a huge demand for more modern furniture and none more popular than the G-Plan brand. Designs were available for several years so people could collect them slowly, with all furniture marked with the distinctive brand mark. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis particular piece is from the 'Brandon' range, the first G-Plan range to appear in shops, and was designed by V.B Wilkins who stated that these pieces of furniture had a look that could be placed in any room of the house and not look out of place. \u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eThe Brandon range was made in seasoned oak and was available in two shades, light oak and nut-brown. The interior is lined in rich sapele mahogany and features two hanging rails and a cubby shelf, along with a full length mirror.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn general good condition with wear commensurate with age and use, including some scratching, factory fills, chips and dints here and there as photographed.
