This particular piece does not feature the reddish tinge that some Scovby rosewood furniture has and instead is a rich walnut brown colour. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe sideboard came to us in nice original condition but is not without wear commensurate with age and use. The top features some light scratching and some areas of rippling to the veneer. The right side panel features two triangular areas where the veneer has bulged and split. This has been glued but remains slightly noticeable as photographed. There is also a little bit of a chip to the recessed handle of the left sliding door.
