Vintage Studio Pottery Table Lamp by Edinbane Pottery with New Pleated Shade.

Studio pottery is pottery made by professional and amateur artists or artisans working alone or in small groups, making unique items or short runs. Typically, all stages of manufacture are carried out by the artists themselves.

If you’re looking for unique, decorative yet functional items for your home, vintage ceramics are all you need. Becoming more and more fashionable, these stand out pieces would look lovely in any style home.

This beautiful large lamp base with neutral colour palette and patterned drip glaze is sure to look great in any room. We’ve paired the lamp with a new off white pleated linen shade, which complements the natural aesthetic of the base perfectly.

Made by Edinbane Pottery of the Isle of Skye in Scotland by well known duo Stuart Whatley and David Pritchard. The particular stamp to the bottom indicates it was made in the 1980s.

The lamp has also been rewired with approximately 207cm of three core twisted nylon flex, complete with a new lamp holder, and three pin UK plug.

In nice condition with no chips or cracks just some light marks as photographed. Overall the lamp measures approximately 46cm tall, 34cm wide. The base itself measures approximately 23cm tall, while the shade measures approximately 34cm wide and 25cm tall.
