This absolutely show stopping sideboard was designed circa 1960 and taps into the essence of Danish Modern with its clean lines, functional design and expert craftsmanship.
There is little information about the Clausen & Son company, but what we do know is that both the designs and craftsmanship that were produced during their rein were of very high quality.
Featuring beautiful waterfall edges and sculptural, tactile handles this sideboard has a plethora of features and ample storage space for a whole manor of items.
The sideboard has been fully stripped, sanded and refinished and is looking stunning once more. That being said there are certain areas that still show signs of wear that are simply commensurate with age. On the top left hand side there is an area where the veneer has started to wear through, probably as a result of a previous failed restoration job.
A truly gorgeous piece of furniture that is scarcely on the market.
Measures approximately 211cm long, 51cm deep and 77.5cm tall.
